Good organization can make or break your project!

Useful Tips for Timelining
- Figure out your deadlines
- Make sure to include a buffer of 1-2 weeks to make sure everything gets deployed + leave room for catching up
- Make weekly or biweekly goals!
- Breaking down the problem helps - create a 3-month goal, monthly goal, and then narrow it down to the week or biweekly level
- Expect things to go wrong!
- Coding is not always as linear a process as one might hope - sometimes, your team will be blocked on a certain task.
- In the case that one thing isn't working, it might be a good idea for the team to be working on multiple independent tasks - that way, they can still be productive and make progress on a different area of the project while they are debugging a specific portion
- Build in learning time
- Many of our #dev-ada members are freshman or this is their first time working on a project outside of class. Even something that might seem very simple might not be known. Make sure to communicate well with your group to figure out what topics they need help learning
- As a project manager, it is also your job to provide learning resources and a general direction for the project. The Dev-Ada team is here to help you with any technical resources + guides + workshops you need. Make sure to figure out, in advance, what sorts of tech stacks you will be using and reach out to the Dev-Ada team if you need help finding resources, tutorials, or would like us to host a workshop on something specific!

Notion is a great resource because you can add multiple views - you can add a calendar, timeline, table, and board view to each of the databases!
